Adraskan Meditation Kilim/Rug
A truly beautiful handmade Adraskand Kilim from Hirat, southern Afganistan. Made using sheeps wool and all natural colours. A very unique design with a wool on wool pattern (knots and flat weave). If peacocks are your spirit animal then this rug is for you. The garden design throughout is a perfect way to bring the outdoors in and as a reminder for us to get outside and get some fresh air. The lovely orange colour in this rug is made from vegetables, the yellow from saffron and the green is from plants.

This beauty will stand that test of time. Relatively small but mighty so it's easily transported and it could be your new best friend reminding you to take a break from life's busy adventures. Folded correctly, it will fit into an average-sized rucksack or large handbag. Place it in your favourite place to meditate, in your kitchen, hallway, bedroom, living room, stairwell or fold it up and take it outdoors for some daily breathwork.
Extra Tidbits
No plastics, no nasties. This rug is made using wool so sitting or stepping on the natural fibers will remind you to stay grounded and take time each day for yourself. Every knot and weave has been done by hand. No heavy machinary or fast working, just pure artistry. The combination of kilim and knots gives the rug a 3 dimensional feel so walking on it is a bit like a massage for the feet.
