Malaki Meditation Kilim
A handmade Malaki Kilim from near Hirat in southern Afghanistan. If you are drawn to geometric designs this rug is the perfect option. We love to think of this rug as a reminder to be centered and focused. The purple in this rug was created by mixing red and indigo vegetable dyes. The shades of pink and red are from the madder plant.

All of our delightful rugs are either vintage or antique and therefore the rugs may be worn in nature and contain blemishes, imperfections and signs of wear and cannot be considered defective. The knots will not be perfect or uniform throughout the rug and they shouldn't be if a rug is handmade!
Uses
A slightly larger kilim than our others. This kilim is still easily transported and it could be your new best friend reminding you to take a break from life's busy adventures. Place it in your favourite place to meditate, in your kitchen, hallway, bedroom, living room, stairwell or fold it up and take it outdoors for some daily breathwork.
Extra Tidbits
No plastics, no nasties. This rug is made using wool so sitting or stepping on the natural fibers will remind you to stay grounded and take time each day for yourself. Every knot and weave has been done by hand. No heavy machinary or fast working, just pure artistry.
